After a week off from shooting sport I got back to action last night to shoot EMU vs. Toledo game. AS you may know, I shoot RAW all the time, yes even sport! So I thought to give JPEG try again. This time with a new toy, an expodisc. Which adjust the white balance in your camera and give you a close natural colors.

The white balance was the reason I shoot Sport in RAW format. However, last night with using the expodisc, I got really nice colors on my photos and the best part… I didn’t have to go through my usual long post processing workflow. I had my shots ready for posting in less than one hour.

Another benefit of shooting JPEG is the ability to shoot at very high frame per second rate, which is in shooting sport is very important.
